Funny Ha Ha

I've read just about every article in the New York Times Magazine this week. Focusing on the Hollywood comedy machine, the mag includes profiles on Will Ferrell and Christopher Guest, along with articles on the business of comedy and online comedians. My favorite pieces were written by funny people themselves. In "How to Be Funny," Teri Garr (remember her?) pokes fun at her "legend status"; and in "Essence of Wacked," Tim Blake Nelson uses the writings of Plato and Aristotle as guides for a humorous performance.
