Bong Hit

Bong Joon-ho. Remember the name. This South Korean director has received a lot of laudatory press. Although he doesn't consider himself part of the "Asian Extreme" group, his films sound like they would fit in perfectly with that horror genre. Bong's most recent flick, "The Host," which is about a sea monster that likes to eat people, has received positive notices at the Cannes Film Festival.
